September....
Well if this is not our busiest month ever, I fear what may come. We started with the twins and Rachael going to preschool. Jake and Jillian went right into their classrooms no problem. They had a great first day. They didn't even seem to miss me. Rachael had a hard time, which was very surprising since all she talked about all summer was going to preschool. After her teacher peeled her off my leg we left, and by the end of the day she was all smiles and had a great time.
Next for us soccer and baseball. Matt was brave and decided to coach the 3-4yrs old in soccer (he actually thought this would be a break,) and they all love him, he is doing a great job with it. Ava and Rachael are the only ones playing soccer this fall. Mathew had decided that he loves baseball and that is what he wants to do. well after a month or so of it, he still loves it so will probably continue on in the spring. Matt has been asked to asst. coaching in the spring so it looks like another busy/fun season ahead.
Once that all started, we took a break from it all and went on a family trip to Branson. The road trip took about 7 hours. We were prepared for the worse when it came to the twins, but they were soooooo good. They played with their books and ate their snack and that was it they just sat there and hung on with us all. Once we got there we were a little surprised, the cabin was beautiful, but it drops off to a creek in the back. A little challenging for us with small children. Since my parents came along they helped out a lot. We went to a dinner show called the Dixie Stampede in which the north fights the south. The kids loved this even Jake and Jillain. We also spent two days at Silver Dollar City. this was the kids' favorite. A theme park where the workers are all dressed in charactor from the 1800s. The park had shows and many rides for them. Even Rachael was able to ride most the rides and she did!
When we came home from vacation, we celebrated the twins 2nd birthday the next day. Grandparents and family came. We had BBQ and kids danced the chicken dance and entertained everyone with made up games. Jake and Jillian had a blast.
The next weekend Ava turned 9yrs, another party, more games, with some extra guests. Our neighbors and their kids came to join the fun! Ava was very excited over this!
This concludes our Sept. happenings, I'm sure I left some things out, but I got all the big stuff down.

June - August
Time has gotten away from me again, so I'll sum up this past summer and continue on. June was pretty uneventful. We started our new school year and towards the end of the month, we started 5 weeks of swim lessons! Thanks to Stephanie my little Rachael has learned to swim on her own! Also, Ava and Matthew have learned their strokes well enough to race each other in our pool.
July 21st was Rachael's 4th birthday which we had taken her to Chucky Cheese. By the time she came home she had a 102 fever. But that did not slow her down. Party was on. Grandparents braved the germs and helped made her day special. She got an art easle, books, clothes, and a dr. kit. She was all smiles as the evening progressed. Thank you motrin. The next week she visited our favorite pedi, Dr. Ezekiel and had a well check. She is now on a line in the growth chart - 3rd percentile for weight! She weighs 26lbs!
August was hot, hot, hot. We stayed in mostly except in the evening times we would swim in the pool. Our fun event this month was Vacation Bible School! The kids had so much fun learning all about the gifts of the Mass, making crafts, singing, and acting in fun skits. I volunteered in the nursery and got to see a lot that was going on and was amazed at what those volunteers were able to pull off.
will post some updated pics of our summer soon!
