Mother's Day 2012
Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you to my mother who choose to give me life, who gave and set a wonderful example of love, and who led me to my faith. Thank you to my mother, Anita, who is there for me and also sets a wonderful example of love. I love you both!

A break from school!
I was so excited this year that I got to attend Six Flags Homeschool Day with the family. The past two years Matt took the three older kids, while I stayed home with the twins. This year the twins are old enough to handle the walking and lines...not that there were many being a homeschool day. The day was HOT topping somewhere in the 90s, so we definitely enjoyed the water rides. Toward the end of the day I was reminded why I never wore denim to six flags...ugh. Rachael was so excited she got to ride the Judge Roy Scream (last year she wasn't tall enough.) So far three out of our five are thrill riders! In case you haven't heard yet, Jake it POTTY TRAINED!! Which means in the eleven years we've lived at this house, it has never been without diapers until now! How surreal is that! The reason I bring this up now is there was a little funny incident that occurred while waiting in line for the Roaring Rapids (the only ride that had a line.) Jake had to go the bathroom, one look at him grabbing a hold of himself gave that away. After waiting in line, we were not about to loose our place, so we told him to just go in your pants you're about to get wet anyway. He was very troubled by this and would not go in his pants. A little more time went by and I happened to look down and there he was with it out and peeing on the wood bridge we were waiting on. He's so close to the ground nobody noticed, that is except the people sitting underneath the bridge in a raft waiting to get off! I'm sure they enjoyed their "golden shower" as they exited the ride. Matt and I were hysterical with laughter. And go figure, that was the raft we went rode on. Anyways, here are some pics of our fun day:
