Totally Awesome at 12

Happy Birthday to my sweet, smart, growing-up-to-fast, beautiful girl!  I'm afraid to blink...she'll be 20 if I do sniff, sniff.  A few friends came to join us for a slumber party.  Did you know that Mad Libs are still around...they are.  Lots of girl fun happening here:

Meet Callie

Our newest family member, Callie has been a little blessing for us during a hard time. Towards the end of summer Pawpaw got very sick and wasn't expected to pull through.  The kids were extremely upset and were in need of a little distraction while Matt and I deal with what may come.  We found her at a shelter estimated 4 weeks old.  She immediately stole our hearts and we brought her home. 

After many prayers I'm very happy to say that Pawpaw has made a miraculous recovery and is at home right now and is walking.  Our prayers are now for thanksgiving for this wonderful miracle.

Port Aransas 2013

The summer was finally over and our long awaited family vacation was here! The kids really love going to the beach and we really don't like driving so far to get to one. Therefore,  Port Aransas here we come!  Here are some pics of our trip:

Happy Birthday to our most vivacious, big-hearted girl! We went to ASI gymnastics for Rachael's party along with a few friends, and the kids LOVED it!  They jumped on trampolines, swung on ropes, jumped into a pit, and ran through an obstacle course.
