So far this year...

Club polo raps up and the start of HSAA waterpolo is off.  Matthew was able to join this year as an 8th grader playing JV.  Matt also got suckered into parent coaching to assist the head coaches and the kiddos just love him (he's the cool parent).  Got to sit in on some ballet rehearsal for the next recital in May.  Dancing is all the rage in the teen homeschool circuit (especially around prom season). Swing and progressive two stepping are the most popular choices so here we are (see pic below) at Southern Junction along with some other home school friends (already on the dance floor) learning these dances. Cousin T. J. came for a short visit (we miss him already.) He got to see some waterpolo games (which is why Ava and Matthew are not in any pics with him) and hang out in Grapevine with us.  Finally, hopefully more pics to come, Matthew is 14yrs old TODAY!!! Happy Birthday to my sweet, big, teddy bear of a son. We love you so much!

 Happy Birthday Matthew!

Christmas 2016

Here are a few captured moments of the season.  Pictures/events were limited due recovering from surgery 2nd week of December.  Nutcracker was spectacular as always with Rachael as a Christmas angle and Jillian a Chinese maiden. Ava and Matthew were not able to make it to their Christmas recital due to conflicting events so no pics/video of that this year. Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Starr's house and Christmas Day was at home...wonderful!

Fall 2016

A fall recap: Waterpolo, ballet, and soccer continue, ORCHARD co-op was a blast, fall camping at Bob Sandlin went by too fast, and so did our long awaited Disney World trip. Ava and Matthew now play for Rockwall Waterpolo Club during the off season from HSAA. Rachael and Jillian have been working on their roles in their upcoming Nutcracker performance. Rachael will be an angel and Jillian a Chinese maiden. Jake now plays for Mutiny club soccer which is able to keep up and challenge him more. ORCHARD co-op was a huge favorite this semester. Alteration class, improv, movies as literature, dinosaur class, PE, and superhero philosophy. Jake and Jillian also made their first communion on Oct. 22nd.
