Family Pictures

We decided to go back to the studio for pictures this year, and I'm very pleased we did. I really appreciated the no weather worries with wind, rain, or it being too cold. Plus with our tight schedules - it just works. I love my family xoxoxo

Nutcracker

Wow! What a turn out for this year's nutcracker!  We nearly sold out with only 5 seats left!  The choreography changes each year to offer a new experience for some of us dance moms who see it year after year. With the dancers parading down the isles, really brought the audience into the show. Rachael performed beautifully on her pointe shoes, though with all the party scene dancers made it hard to see her at times. Her acting was really interesting and funny as she was playing with one of the live dolls. Her Spanish costume was my favorite and the dance was flawless and entertaining - great job Rachael!
Jillian's performance as a harlequin doll livened up the party scene with acrobatics and silly poses. Jillian was recently injured in rehearsals as one of the dolls did an aerial and her feet rammed into Jillian's nose and forehead. Praise be to God her nose was not broken, but she did have a shiner for a few days. The Russian dance and music is always a favorite of mine and Jillian shined as she performed in sync with her classmates. I really enjoy this year after year and hope they will offer it 2 days next year with the increase in attendance. Here are some pics of the event:
