A Busy Week

Here are a few activities from this past week: Visit to the Dallas Art Museum, Taking Ava's senior pictures, daily nutcracker rehearsals, schooling, and serving at mass. I actually love this full life and the busyness of our schedules. It makes me really appreciate vacations and holidays. Ava wanted me to do her senior pictures so hopefully they look alright ?!? (will post senior pics later.) Rachael will be performing en pointe for the first time as a party guest. She will also be dancing as a Spanish dancer. Jillian will be performing as a harlequin doll and Russian dancer - can't wait to see all their hard work in December's performance.

Homecoming Dance 2018

Ava and Matthew attended the WAG Homecoming dance again this year. It was held at The Pioneers of Flight Museum in Dallas. According to the teens the music wasn't as good as last year, but they still had a blast dancing and hanging out with their friends.

Fall Birthdays

With 4 family members having birthdays within 3 weeks of each other, we finally got smart and hosted 1 big family birthday party for the fall birthdays! Happy 44th birthday to Matt, 17th birthday to Ava, and 10th birthday to Jake and Jillian!!!

Summer 2018

Summer recap:

This past summer was full of excitement, adventure, and new experiences as this crazy crew keeps growing older. We started the summer off with a camping trip to Lake Ouachita in Arkansas with some good friends where we spent most of the day on the lake tubing. Though it was scorching hot during the day, the lake was nice and refreshing. As always great camping food was enjoyed by all including some very large weird looking bugs, ewww!!!

Matthew and Ava both worked full time as life guards which means no more running errands kid-free with no older siblings at home to supervise littles. Therefore, we spent most of the summer at our favorite Texas Pool. Also, we did crash Matthew's pool while he was working (thanks to his awesome manager Luke.)

Ava took biology at Collin College in a 5 week course in which she managed to pull an A while still working - u da bomb girl!

Rachael and Jillian continued ballet over the summer while Jake, Matthew, and Ava played club waterpolo for Coach Matt (aka Dad)

We did escape for a long weekend to Aunt Pam's lake house near Galveston which was very relaxing. Grandma came too (surprise for Aunt Pam.)
