Ava and Joe's Wedding

Its was so difficult to put into words the multitude and range of emotions felt while preparing your daughter for one of the biggest events in her life. I really can claim to experience every emotion possible these past 6 months. However, the day of, seeing how she radiated with such joy that only God's grace could have provided. Knowing that this agape love will see her through the cross of marriage and as she  looked upon her beloved waiting at the altar, I knew she was ready and it was time. You see, this is what we prepare our daughters for, to find a gentleman that shares in the same faith and God's love so that their fruits of children will continue to pass on the same love as Christ intended. Joseph, my new son-in-law, whom I prayed throughout the years for, I immensely pleased that God has chosen you to join our family. You're kind, giving, and goofy like the rest of us. You are also a virtuous man who is loyal, humble, and honest and will make an excellent husband for Ava.

What a blessing to join our two families together. Deacon Gagnon and family friend Father Horkin co-officiated the mass and said the homily and vows. Joe, being the youngest boy and 2nd to the youngest of 6 is used to tight quarters, shared bathrooms, and all the sibling squabbles he experienced when staying with our family. Deacon Gagnon, also a recently retired Colonel in the USAF, along with his wife Mary Jane, homeschool their brood while traveling all across the world to different assigned bases. Our families share the same faith which made this union even more compatible.
