April....

Well, apparently I'm behind since I forgot the name of my own blog site. So, to catch up we must begin with Easter. Easter went well for everyone, except I was sick and had to back out of our traditional Easter at a family friend's house. Instead, we were raiding Walmart for some last minute Easter food. I think we pulled it off well. Mom made a yummy pork roast with all the fixings (thanks mom!) Also, had cheesy potatoes, green beans, salad, and rolls. We threw together a yummy cake that morning before church. It was a success. The kids loved their goodies from the Easter Bunny. Hunting eggs was probably the highlight of their day. Uncle Chris, Matt, and Grandpa hid the eggs while Grandma kept peeking eyes from spoiling the fun. We tried an outdoor photo, but it was too windy and had unhappy babies--no good. No worries we have pics scheduled later in our outfits.
Soccer and gymnastics continues, however we had to miss a gymnastic session due to missing keys. After hours of tearing down the house, car, diaper bags--- they were finally recovered under a blanket in Matthew's bed. Apparently he was keeping his door locked to keep Rachael out of his room and needed to unlock it with MY keys and forgot about it. Ava's monthly Little Flowers meeting was tons of fun. She learned about St. Lucy and made stained glass crosses. Matthew came home after his blue knights meeting with a breast plate to complete his suit of armor. He also learned the virtue of humility which he says he forgot what that meant by the time he got home.
We are one step closer to getting Rachael fully potty trained! It's been 9 days in a row she has poo pooed in the potty, YEAH!!! She knows on day ten that she gets a little toy. When she gets to one month, she gets a bigger toy. We hope we get there. She is doing a little better putting words together. She still insist on doing "lessons" but, her attention span is about 5 minutes tops.
Jake is speaking more and more everyday. We love to say our animal sounds for cows, sheep, horse, and duck. We can't get pig yet, though we try really hard. Jake still eats tons and favorite food of the month would still be bananas. He would eat them all day if I let him. We go through 5 bundles in a week!
Jillian is a 19 month old going on 4yr. She speaks very clear and in sentences. She and Rachael already fight over clothes. The phrase that most surprised me this month was, "mommy where were you?" As I took too long to get her out of her crib after nap. She loves her animal sounds and repeats everything I read (on easy books.)
I feel so blessed to have them and I love them so much. They are all such a joy and can't wait to see what they do next week...
