Easter
Happy Easter Everyone! We had a wonderful weekend filled with fun activities for the kids and a relaxing time for Matt and I. It's not very often I'm off work on a Friday and Saturday so it was nice to see what the rest of the world enjoys. Friday we went to the zoo early that morning and realized everyone else had the same idea...it was PACKED. But we still had a good time and we're able to see some things we missed last time. When we got home we did stations and started our divine mercy novena. Saturday Matthew had baseball practice and then Matt and I got to go out on a lunch date to Gloria's (my favorite.) After our relaxing afternoon without the kids, we returned home ready to color Easter eggs and frost sugar cookies. That night the grandparents came over and we had margaritas and played cards while the little ones watched The Wizard of Oz. Then it was off to bed for the big day! Easter morning started early with mass at 7:30am. When we got home the kids hunted down their Easter baskets (a tradition in our family to hide them,) then it was bubble blowing and Easter egg hunts the rest of the afternoon. We had Easter dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Starr's house and then it was off to work for mommy. Here are some pic below:
