Artful August
Is it August already?!? I can't believe how fast these months fly. Since I don't have time teach art in our homeschool curriculum
we decided to outsource it to our new rec center in a class called Artful Adventures. It is mostly a painting class which taught them how to use watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pastels. They painted two masterpieces for us each day. What a blast they had! Also, did I mention how wonderful our weather has been these past couple weeks. We've had rain and temps in the 80s for highs. How unusual for an August in Texas. Because of our wonderful weather, we all headed to the zoo last Sunday. It was so nice, and surprisingly not crowded. I guess everyone was shopping at the no tax sales...lucky for us!
